Rental Terms

Driver’s Age

• The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 23 years old.
• Drivers aged 19 to 22 may rent a vehicle with an additional insurance surcharge, depending on the vehicle type.

Driver’s License

• A valid driver’s license issued at least 1 year prior to the rental date is required.
• Non-EU citizens (outside the Geneva Convention) must also present an International Driving Permit along with their national license.
• Licenses valid for less than one year are subject to an additional insurance surcharge.

Reservations

• Reservations are confirmed only if all rental conditions are met and vehicle availability is ensured.
• Bookings refer to vehicle categories, not specific models.
• If the selected model is unavailable, an equivalent or upgraded vehicle will be provided at no extra cost.

Cancellation Policy

• Up to 7 days before pick-up: No charge
• 24 hours to 7 days before: 50% of the rental fee
• Within 24 hours: No refund

No Show

• If the customer does not appear within 2 hours of the scheduled time without prior notice, the reservation is canceled and the full amount is charged.

Fines & Penalties

• The renter is fully responsible for any traffic fines or administrative penalties during the rental period.
• In the event of license plate removal by authorities, the rental charge continues until the plates are returned. An additional €100 fee applies, unless otherwise agreed.

Fuel Policy

• Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up.
• If returned with less fuel, a charge applies based on the difference (minimum €20).
• No refund is given for excess fuel.

Mileage

• Cars: 100 km/day free. Additional kilometers charged at €0.15/km.
• Scooters: 100 km/day free. Additional kilometers charged at €0.10/km.

Pick-ups/Drop-offs Outside Station or Business Hours

• Charges depend on location.
• Outside business hours:
  • 19:00–23:59: €20.00
  • 00:00–09:00: €30.00

Payment & Deposit

• Accepted cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners, Discover
• Payment is made upon pick-up via cash or card.

Minimum Rental Duration

• 3 days

Additional Services

• 24/7 Roadside Assistance: Free
• Child Seats: Free (with prior notice)
• Additional Driver: 1 included, each extra driver: €3/day

Vehicle Transport

• Cross-border travel: Not permitted
• By ferry: Requires written approval

Vehicle Cleaning

• Full interior cleaning (biological): €100
• Partial cleaning (e.g. one seat): €50

Accidents

• Immediate notification and a police report are mandatory.
• If the renter is at fault: €100 charge + damage cost + rental days lost.

Security Deposit

• The deposit amount depends on the selected insurance option.

Insurance Coverage

All rentals include Third-Party Liability Insurance, which covers material damage, death, and bodily injury to others.

For additional protection, the following options are available:

• C.D.W. (Collision Damage Waiver)
• S.C.D.W. (Super Collision Damage Waiver)

Deductibles vary depending on vehicle category:

• Cars (Category A to D1):
  • C.D.W.: €900
  • S.C.D.W.: €600
• Cars (Category E1 & F1):
  • C.D.W.: €1500
  • S.C.D.W.: €900
• Scooters up to 250cc:
  • C.D.W.: €650
  • S.C.D.W.: €350
• Scooters 300–400cc:
  • C.D.W.: €900
  • S.C.D.W.: €450

Some damages are not covered by any insurance, as specified in the rental agreement’s terms and exclusions.

Required Documents

• Valid driver’s license (and international permit if required)

• Passport or EU National ID

• All submitted information must be accurate.

  The company reserves the right to refuse the rental if false information is detected.

Vehicle Replacement

• In case of a breakdown, replacement is provided based on availability.
• If the damage is due to the renter’s fault, the renter covers the repair costs.

Vehicle Inspection

• It is recommended to inspect and photograph the vehicle before departure.

Pets

• Pets are allowed only in appropriate transport baskets.
